University of Novi Sad (UNS)

The University of Novi Sad (UNS) was founded in 1960. It is the only state university in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, comprising 14 faculties and 2 research and developmental institutes. With more than 50.000 students, 5.000 teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as 300 study programmes, the University of Novi Sad is the second largest University in Serbia. It is a comprehensive and reputable educational and scientific institution covering all major fields of study and research.

The University of Novi Sad has extensive experience in e-learning (numerous Erasmus+ projects – MILETUS, e-VIVA, DEDALUS, DATALIT, etc.). E-learning laboratory was established in 2008, and since then it provides support for the whole University in regard to strategy, infrastructure, organisation and trainings needed for the application of digital technologies in teaching and learning.

The University of Novi Sad (UNS) has a central Virtual Learning Environment, and uses two videoconferencing tools (i.e. MS Teams, Cisco WebEx) for delivering online lectures. The E-learning laboratory is responsible for the development of Open Educational Resources, as well as for providing instructional design trainings.
